If you are doing a demo and you find a bug, we'd like to know about it! Do follow the guide below as how to report it, to make sure we can fix it as quickly as possible.
As the request form doesn't really provide a good format for reporting bugs, make sure you email your issue to our support address.
Provide the following information:
- Course name: (ex: SAA-C02)
- Course section: (ex: IAM, Accounts and AWS organisations)
- Lesson: (ex: [DEMO] Using service control policies)
- GitHub location (if applicable): (eg: https://github.com/acantril/learn-cantrill-io-labs/tree/master/00-aws-simple-demos/aws-alb-session-stickiness/01_LABSETUP ) If the bug is on a GitHub Repo, you can also submit a PR for that repo with the actual fix for double bounty credits.
- Describe steps you have taken before you encounter the issue
- If you have deviated from the instructions during the current demo, or in previous demo's which is being built upon, describe what you have done different (for example, you didn't create new accounts from scratch, or you made an error that you fixed).
- Describe exactly what happens when you encounter the issue;
- add screenshots if possible
- add error messages if possible
- Describe if you have found a workaround/solution yourself, or if you were able to continue (but possibly get stuck further in)
- Email your report to support@cantrill.io
The bounty
Each first and verified report of an issue will make you eligible for a bounty. You can read more about the bounty here.
Make sure you follow the guidelines above to be eligible for a bounty. Don't report by emailing Adrian directly or through slack - we need to keep track of things and not emailing the support address risks us losing details.
